This was such an elegant family photoshoot at Robbins Preserve near Fort Lauderdale; one of my favorite parks in South Florida.
Deana contacted me to arrange to have some photos take for New Year’s cards. They had not had a family photo session in a while, and she wanted some photos of their twins where they could be themselves; run, play and feel comfortable. The couple also wanted something natural with a beautiful backdrop and my mind instantly went to this park.
Deana + Chris are not an overly formal family, but when they showed up to the photoshoot looking completely dapper in all their finery, I knew I’d be able to show off their personalities. Five-year old twins, Dominic and Luigi, looked so sweet in their matching black suit and tie, and instantly settled in front of the lens. Deana wore a gorgeous shimmering blue floor-length pleated dress, and Chris matched the twins looking handsome in his black suit.
Taking family photographs is always one of my favorites. Getting to know the family doesn’t usually take too long, and before you know it the kids are play fighting, the parents forget I’m there so taking lots of candid, fun photographs is always a must.
