Purple, grey + orange was the inspiration for this unique modern wedding styled photoshoot at Palm Beach Zoo

This unique venue offers couples the opportunity to have a gorgeous outdoor wedding in the beautiful Florida landscape. There are so many unique locations within the zoo to exchange your vows; a romantic fountain providing a classic backdrop for ceremonies, a gorgeous wood and rope bridge, or the beautiful Mayan Pyramid replicas with statues and obelisks. These were some of the reasons I decided to organize a styled modern wedding photoshoot at Palm Beach Zoo.

I teamed up once again with Kelly, from Kelly Doss Events who also happened to be one of the three beautiful models chosen for the shoot. All three had their own look and style, and certainly knew how to interact with myself and our other photographer, Diana.

We wanted a gentle nod to honor the location we chose to host our styled wedding photoshoot. We didn’t want too many animal-themed favors, table decor, and stationery. Therefore, the unique animal table place cards and name card holders were perfect. The flowers were amazing!

As usual, Dalsimer Atlas did not disappoint. The two bouquets and floral table settings were pops of purple, orange and greens. Absolutely stunning. Palm Beach Zoo also offer animal handling during weddings. This is a fantastic idea for younger children, and adults alike, to experience close-up all the native animals, birds, and reptiles the zoo houses.

As seems to be the tradition for my styled wedding photoshoots, it rained on the day. However, that didn’t stop Diana and I getting some gorgeous shots of the brides.
