Cynthia + Randy knew from the beginning they wanted their maternity photos to be taken at Vizcaya Museum + Gardens Miami. Their vision for their session was all about elegance and glamour.

Cynthia’s beautiful maternity gowns were rented here in South Florida, and she had her hair and makeup done especially. She looked like a Roman Goddess in her gorgeous maternity dresses.

Their daughter, Layla, was also part of the shoot and she really stole the show. A ballerina in training, Layla certainly knew how to smile and pose like the best of them.

South Florida’s photoshoot backdrops are typically sunny beaches, verdant gardens, and beautiful pastel buildings. Although I love shooting in these popular areas, Vizcaya is one of my favorite places to photoshoot clients due to the uniquely stunning and historic backdrop. It’s ‘old world’ feel, gorgeous architecture, and stunning landscaping was perfect for this expectant couple.

Although humid, we spent a few hours walking round Vizcaya stopping at all the beautiful areas within the gardens.
