Claudia + Lucas are from Angola. They are both studying post-graduate courses here in South Florida and are pregnant with their first child.

I have had the opportunity to take gender reveal photographs for expectant couples before. Therefore, I know how exciting it is to be part of this amazing experience.

For the gender reveal photoshoot, the couple brought colored smoke bombs to pompano beach to incorporate into their pictures. At first, they didn’t want to know the sex of the baby until their photoshoot. However, both of them could not wait and had already read the card given to them by their doctor, revealing the baby’s sex. I, however, was unaware, so I was excited regardless!

Despite the wind, I posed the couple, lit the smoke bombs and watched the pink smoke dance about into the sky. They were expecting a baby GIRL!

Throughout the whole beach gender reveal photoshoot the couple smiled ear-to-ear. And so did I! Thank you Claudia + Lucas for letting me capture this exciting moment in your lives…
