I loved capturing this beautiful Fort Lauderdale Family Portrait!

When Kasha contacted me to discuss booking a shoot for her mother’s 76th birthday, she didn’t have to ask me twice. It was going to be a home portrait session in her mother’s house a short drive from Fort Lauderdale. With lots of natural light and a back garden jutting out on to a beautiful lake, it was a breath of fresh air from my usual haunts of the beach and local parks.

The birthday girl, Pauline, was radiant. We had organized a surprise makeover for her by Ali, a professional makeup artist from Eventful Looks, so when I arrived that afternoon she looked like a million dollars! After doing a few shots inside with her favorite puppy duo, I took the family out into their back garden to utilize the beautiful South Florida sunset.

It was evident that the Stewart family are very close. Unfortunately one of the brothers couldn’t make the photoshoot, but Kasha and her two brothers certainly turned up the smile dial!
