Caitlin + Thomas met over a year ago and had their first date over a few glasses of margaritas. This date lasted 5-hours. I knew this was going to be a fun engagement session.
Caitlin knew that Thomas was the one when she introduced him to her family. That was the first time her sister was really excited about a boyfriend of Caitlin’s she had met!
Both of them have the cutest stories to tell about each other. When asked what 3 things Caitlin loves about Thomas, she said ‘he knows the exact moment that I need a forehead kiss, he has a kind heart, and he has beautiful eyes’. Thomas loves her driven personality and her deep devotion to her friends and family.
The couple got engaged in February of this year and plan to get married in 2018 in Texas. Caitlin really wanted her engagement photoshoot to show how much they adore each other. They have been in a long-distance relationship for over six months, so this session meant a lot to them both.
I knew the perfect location for an engagement photoshoot. Robbins Preserve is romantic, private, and ideal for any couple sessions. Both arrived looking amazing! Caitlin had two outfits; a gorgeous black lace dress and a stunning deep red silk maxi dress. This perfectly matched Thomas’s rather dashing suit. Her makeup was perfection thanks to Tracie Rosales!
Caitlin entered lots of pageants when she was younger so was an absolute natural in front of the camera. The couple definitely made my job a lot easier!
The three of us had to sit in my car for over 30 minutes due to the drenching rain storm that passed us by, but this gave me ample time to get to know the couple and plan their perfect engagement session.
