As an Indian wedding photographer in South Florida, I’m excited to share this Indian wedding at Bahia Mar, Fort Lauderdale featured in Maharani Weddings.
This Indian wedding at the Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale was stunning!
Prerana + Maneesh met at a social club in college when they were both in charge of planning events together. One rainy day they found themselves stuck together all day with one too many banana pancakes. They decided to explore Old Philadelphia and became firm friends after that. The rest is history…
Prerana + Maneesh have been a couple since 2009. Prerana decided to get her Ph.D. three hours away from where they were both originally based. They were both determined that the long-distance relationship would work.
Two weeks before her dissertation, Maneesh surprised Prerana with a trip to France. But he didn’t propose in Paris as expected. He decided to be different and propose at the top of the cliffs around the Gorge du Verdon; a beautiful canyon in the middle of the French countryside.
The couple chose the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale as their venue for their Indian wedding. They needed a venue that could host 300 of their closest family and friends for their special day. As a South Florida Indian wedding photographer, this is the perfect venue. It boasts a private walkway to the beach, close to bars and restaurants, and is a short drive from the international airport. The Bahia Mar also has a beautiful outdoor setting close to the inter-coastal for wedding ceremonies, and their Commodore Ballroom can accommodate up to 600 guests. Perfect for Indian weddings!
Prerana + Maneesh spent months organizing their South Florida Indian wedding. All the details were carefully planned to reflect their modern Indian style together with their traditional south Indian culture. They thought of everything from the groom’s Baraat to the amazing florals and stage design. I think you’ll agree, this was a truly beautiful wedding. So beautiful that it has been featured in Maharani Weddings!
