ENJOY THIS ROMANTIC PROPOSAL PHOTOSHOOT BLOG POST FROM
FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH
Joshua + Sidney met at college in NY. In a math class of all places! They talked for weeks before Sidney finally agreed to go on a date. He organized the most romantic of first dates…
Josh took a guide book to NYC out of Sidney’s room and looked at everything she had bookmarked. He planned the date around the places she had noted; lunch and dinner venues and a range of activities to do during the day and early evening. He made a paper fortune teller and got her to pick a number. That number dictated where and what they would do, and after they had finished, they’d head to the next destination.
At the end of the date he told her it had been the best day of his life and asked if they could start officially dating. Sidney said no! So Josh worked his butt off to get another date with is dream girl and they have now been together for 4-years.
The proposal photoshoot took place on Fort Lauderdale beach at sunrise. It had been raining all week in South Florida, but the rain gods stayed away this morning.
Josh had prepared a ‘book of memories’ for Sidney, collecting memorabilia from their 4-years together. On the very last page of the book, he asked that all-important question; ‘will you marry me’. She said yes!
After getting her makeup done, Josh + Sidney met me at Robbins Park Lodge in Davie for their engagement photoshoot. As a Fort Lauderdale engagement photographer, it was important for me to capture the true essence of their relationship; love and laughter. I think it’s safe to say this was not a difficult brief…!
