This modern wedding at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Miami was stunning.
Katie + Chad met in October 2013 whilst both living in Miami. Katie’s best friend dragged her out clubbing despite her protests. And she’s glad she did. The couple’s eyes met as Chad was ‘shuffle dancing’. The rest of the evening was spent chatting and laughing like they had known each other for years.
One chilly morning after Valentine’s Day in 2015, Chad got down on one knee on the bridge over the Venetian Causeway, Biscayne Bay. The rest is history.
Katie previously worked at the Biltmore Hotel, so it was inevitable that the couple got married there. The historic architecture is stunning, which is why they chose one of the elegant ballrooms for the memorable setting.
Jan and her team from Alma Event Planner did an amazing job putting this entire wedding together. Katie’s makeup by Makeup Artistry By Jessie was flawless and Katie had so many compliments on her wedding bouquet by Flowers By Ro.
Katie + Chad opted for a First Look and chose the beautiful courtyard at the hotel for this. It was a very teary first look – lots of emotion from both bride and groom. And from their photographer!
Their Biltmore Hotel wedding was a grand affair with over 100 of their friends and family members present. Their gorgeous 2-year old daughter, Lilly, was the most adorable flower girl. The Jewish wedding ceremony was personalized by Rabbi Frank, a well-known Rabbi within the Miami area.
The evening reception was hosted by friends of the couple at a private home in Coral Gables. Once again, the events team did an amazing job setting the romantic tables with candles and flowers. Despite the rain, I think you can all safely say the couple had a wonderful day celebrating their modern-day romance.
With special thanks to the team of amazing vendors:
