This was my first time photographing a wedding at the Royal Fiesta Deerfield Beach, but the bride and I organized a walk-thru before the big day to check out the venue for the ceremony and bridal portraits. I could see why they booked this venue…
Chantal and Zak are typical 20-somethings. They love going to the dog park, eating home cooked meals, and watching movies. I knew as soon as I met them for our wedding consult that we would all work well together.
The bride and groom met at high school, but were friends for years before finally dating. The day before they were to go on a cruise, Zak planned for his grandmother and mother to take Chantal to get her nails done. They booked a night in a Miami hotel the night before. When Chantal arrived at the hotel, their room was filled with balloons, flowers and wine. Zak got down on one knee and popped the question. How romantic!
The getting ready part of their wedding day was so much fun! Chantal and her group of bridesmaids all got ready at Waterstone Resort + Marina in Boca Raton. Hair Chemistry Miami were there to beautify Chantal and the girls, and we picked up their flowers from Floral Creations By Blanca.
The wedding was held at the Royal Fiesta in Deerfield Beach. Chantal chose the venue as it reflected the modern and elegant theme planned for her wedding. Accommodating up to 300 guests and overlooking the intracoastal waterway was another ‘wow’ factor.
Guests from near and far arrived and the ceremony was beautiful. Family and bridal portraits followed, then a fun, happy party ensued. Congratulations Chantal + Zak. Thank you for letting me be part of your special day.
