When Abby, founder and owner of Blue Orchid Events and Design, contacted me and asked if I’d like to photograph a styled shoot alongside Sweet Memories Photography, she didn’t have to ask me twice. I was told it was going to be at the Bahia Mar Resort and Yachting Center. This resort is the ultimate marina destination in the beautiful city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is also home to the world renowned Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show; so I challenge you to find a more suitable location for a nautical themed shoot!
A subtle hue of blues, white and coral with pops of color in the delicate floral arrangements, a heavenly dessert table, and a slip-side lounge area, the ambience was set to ‘high in romance’.
